This project was the final project for the class Hacking the Humanities. We obtained photographs and journals from the school’s library archive, and curated the information about two alumni who traveled and taught in Sichuan, China during the 1930s into a website created on WordPress.
UX Prototype Design for CCCE Fellow Shift Scheduling
This was a group final project for the CS course Human-Computer Interaction. We designed a calendar prototype in Balsamiq that satisfies multiple functions for our client, the CCCE Office. It includes multiple features such as student sign-up and check-in for work shifts, supervisor monitoring of student shifts, and reminders for students regarding special shifts and responsibilities.
Final Paper for Chinese Cinema in Translation
This paper aims to examine the differences between the 2019 Chinese film Nezha and the 1970s Chinese animation Nezha Naohai. Both works depict the legendary Chinese deity Nezha, but they approach the character and the story in vastly different ways. Through a close analysis of select scenes from both works, this paper will explore the ways in which the cultural and societal context of their respective eras have shaped the representation of Nezha.
